JAN WILLEM SCHENK
‘My extensive network enables me to better serve clients on various matters.’
I specialize in advising families, their assets, governance and family businesses, as well as advising on employee participation schemes. I also advise national and international companies on corporate governance.
In 1992 I started working for an international civil-law notary and law firm in Rotterdam. There, I was involved in the international guidance and coordination of investment funds and the setting up of financing structures, particularly for ships. Subsequently, I was a candidate civil-law notary at an international civil-law notary and law firm in Curacao for more than 3 years. On my return to the Netherlands, I was (and still am) a partner at several (international) civil-law notary and law firms.
